Doing my first ever club race at Hawkstone Park next month. I've been riding for 3 years on private land and practice tracks but never actually raced. I know I'm going to be slow and that's fine, but the nerves are already kicking in! How did you cope with your first race? Any advice for a complete racing newbie?

We had absolutely biblical conditions at Lyng last weekend and I spent more time on the floor than on the bike. I know the basics - lower tyre pressure, smooth inputs - but I really struggle with confidence in the slop. Any specific drills or mindset tips that helped you crack it?

My son (13) has just got his first proper bike - a KTM 65 SX - and we're looking for some friendly tracks around the West Midlands / Staffordshire area. Not looking for anything too serious, just somewhere he can practice and improve without being surrounded by serious racers. Any recommendations welcome!

Been using the dealer for OEM parts but the prices are getting ridiculous. A mate recommended Partzilla as a US-based OEM parts supplier with international shipping. Anyone ordered from them to the UK? How were the shipping times and did you get hit with customs charges?

Running stock bars on my CRF450R at the moment and a few people have suggested I switch to Renthal Fatbars. The price is steep but I've heard the vibration reduction is significant over a long moto. Anyone made the switch? Did you notice a real difference or is it more psychological?

My daughter (11) has just started riding a CRF110 and I want to make sure she's properly kitted out but without spending a fortune on gear she'll grow out of in 6 months. What's worth spending good money on (obviously helmet and body armour) and where can I be more budget conscious? Currently looking at Alpinestars or Fox for the helmet.

Bit of a basic one but I see so many people neglect this. I'm on a 4-stroke and I'm cleaning after every single ride, re-oiling with Putoline every 2-3 rides. Some of my mates say that's overkill. What's your routine?

Been going back and forth on this for weeks. Both bikes are essentially the same underneath but the Husky seems to have slightly better suspension out of the box. Anyone run both and have a strong opinion? I'm an intermediate rider, been riding for about 5 years, mostly club racing at Culham and Foxhill.

I've ridden both extensively and I keep coming back to 2-strokes for enduro. Yes the 4-stroke has more grunt but when you're 4 hours into a long enduro and your arms are pumping, that lighter 2-stroke feels like a godsend. Modern 2T suspension has closed the gap massively too. Fight me.

Anyone been to Foxhill recently? Planning a trip down this Saturday with a couple of mates and just wondering what the track is like. Is the main track open or just the training area? Last time I went the watering was a bit inconsistent.

Picked up a bit of a project bike cheap - 2019 YZ250F with unknown hours and a clattery top end. Planning a full rebuild over winter. I'll be doing it myself as I'm fairly mechanically minded. Anyone got a good resource for torque specs and service intervals beyond the Yamaha manual? Also interested in any gotchas specific to this year model.
